In the MinebeaMitsumi Group Environmental Policy, the item "contribution to the international community" states that we recognize that our business activities may have an effect on biodiversity and ecosystems, and that we will work to conserve nature.
Taking Part in Biodiversity Conservation Activities
Qingdao Mitsumi Plant (China) participated in biodiversity conservation activities. For the purpose of caring the impact of the ecosystem and wildlife protection, we set up bird nests on trees around the company to create an environment where wild birds can fly into.

Cleaning up Nakaumi and Lake Shinji
MinebeaMitsumi Yonago Plant employees pitched in to help with a cleanup campaign aimed at protecting the shores of Lakes Nakaumi and Shinji. The cleanup campaign, run by Tottori and Shimane Prefecture's five lakeshore municipalities in the area (Yonago, Sakaiminato, Matsue, Yasugi, and Izumo), is held every year in order to clean up the lake sites.
6,665 people participated this year from the five municipalities picking up a total of 12.07 tons of trash. 1,163 people from Yonago municipality participated, including 39 employees from the Yonago Plant.
Ramsar Convention: A treaty protecting wetlands of international importance which serve as waterfowl habitats, etc.
