MinebeaMitsumi to Exhibit at JIMTOF 2024
MinebeaMitsumi Inc. (hereinafter referred to as "MinebeaMitsumi") is pleased to announce its participation in the 32nd Japan International Machine Tool Fair "JIMTOF 2024," which is scheduled to be held at Tokyo Big Sight (Tokyo International Exhibition Center) from Tuesday, November 5th to Sunday, November 10th.

The fair aims to facilitate deals related to machine tools and other equipment, as well as to promote international technical exchange, contributing to industry growth and global trade. This year's fair will be held under the key visual theme of "Technologies passed down to the future offers unlimited possibilities." In line with goals of improving energy efficiency and product lifetimes, the MinebeaMitsumi booth will showcase a diverse array of high-precision, high-performance products and technologies that utilize innovations shaping our future.
From machined components category, MinebeaMitsumi will exhibit axial/radial bearings (manufactured by myonic), known for their high rigidity. These bearings can handle axial loads, radial loads, and moment without wobble, thereby enhancing machining accuracy. Also on display will be Wavy Nozzle, a movable nozzle designed to improve metal machining efficiency through oscillating injection of coolant and air.
Four different types of connectors will be exhibited: waterproof connectors, featuring an extensive lineup from small-sized to high-current models by MinebeaMitsumi group, including Honda Tsushin Kogyo Co., Ltd.; multi-core square connectors, known for their proven track records and high reliability; 0.8 mm-pitch I/O connectors, compact yet robust, supporting high-speed transmission; and relay connectors, specifically designed to address wiring-related issues inside compact, lightweight industrial equipment, collaborative robots and such.
From the sensing device category, the integrated mold sensing system, capable of measuring and recording resin pressure and temperature inside the mold, and the low-capacity shaft-type torque transducer TMRS, which achieves low capacity, high precision, high-speed rotation, and fast response, will be on display.
Moreover, potting fan, designed to protect fan motors from external factors by molding the coil section and circuit board with epoxy resin, as well as IGBT and SiC modules from Minebea Power Semiconductor Device, will be exhibited.
We will also be exhibiting actual ball screws and ball ways, which will be manufactured by the new company scheduled to acquire shares from TSUBAKI NAKASHIMA CO., Ltd. in December 2024.
