MinebeaMitsumi Launches Operations at Mach Aero Components' New Plant
-Doubling aircraft component production capacity-
On February 14, 2025, MinebeaMitsumi Inc.(Head Office: Nagano Prefecture, Representative Director, Chairman & CEO: Yoshihisa Kainuma; hereinafter referred to as "MinebeaMitsumi")held a completion ceremony to mark the start of operations at a new plant established on the premises of its group company, Mach Aero Compnents Private Ltd. (Location: Karnataka, India; hereinafter "MACPL"). Referred to as the "Third Plant," this facility was built to expand MinebeaMitsumi's machining component business.
This establishment is expected to double the company's production capacities for high-demand aircraft engine components and machining components compared to the previous level.
MACPL began manufacturing aircraft precision machining components in 2007 and was integrated into MinebeaMitsumi group in November 2017. Since then, MACPL has primarily been manufaturing and selling aerospace spherical bearings and machining components as a member of MinebeaMitsumi's aerospace product brand, MinebeaMitsumi Aerospace (which includes NMB, NHBB, C&A Tool, myonic, CEROBEAR, Mach Aero, and RO-RA).
With the establishment of the Third Plant, MinebeaMtsumi aims to ramp up its production of aircraft components, thereby strengthening its machining component business and competitive edge.
Among the attendees were Yoshida Katsuhiko, the company's Director, President COO & CFO, and Jean Malonda, who shared an anectode about the opening of the Third Plant. In addition to the ceremony, a plant tour and celeberaion party were held.
