Due to a situation in which counterfeit face masks were sold by the sellers who pretended to be MinebeaMitsumi Inc., we have been suspended sales of our face masks at Amazon.co.jp since August 10, 2020. However, we hereby announce that we will resume the sales from August 31.
We have found the sellers who pretended MinebeaMitsumi at Amazon.co.jp and also confirmed the counterfeit products.
We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience, but we ask for your attention and check the following features about genuine and counterfeit products when you purchase the product.

- The seller name is displayed as "MinebeaMitsumi." (there is a dot (.) in the end), or "Harenohi" etc.
- The price shown is not the official price (the official price is 2970 yen whereas counterfeits are 999 yen, 1299 yen, 1,399 yen, 1,371 yen, etc. However, we are not selling our masks on Amazon.co.jp at the moment even at the official price).
On July 17, 2020, MINEBEA MITSUMI Inc. (MinebeaMitsumi) hereby announces the filter collection efficiency test results for a performance evaluation of our mask products and the results show that our masks have 99% of VFE (Viral Filtration Efficiency), PFE (Particle Filtration Efficiency) and BFE (Bacterial Filtration Efficiency).
MINEBEA MITSUMI Inc. (MinebeaMitsumi) will begin selling in-house produced masks made in the clean room of its Hamamatsu Plant (Fukuroi City, Shizuoka Prefecture). These masks will be available for purchase on Amazon.co.jp starting June 26.
On April 1, 2020, MinebeaMitsumi began producing masks in-house for its employees to wear, using the clean room of its Hamamatsu Plant, in an effort to deter the spread of the new coronavirus (COVID-19) outside of the company and to ensure the safety of its employees, as well as to fulfill its supply responsibility as a parts manufacturer through its production, sales, and general business activities.
The company has now decided to begin selling these masks externally in order to be of service to the people who need them amidst Japan's mask supply shortage.
MinebeaMitsumi would like to express its deep respect for everyone continuing to fight the spread of the new coronavirus (COVID-19) on the front lines, and will continue to provide necessary support against the spread of infection going forward.
