Notice Regarding News Articles on Our LED Backlight Business Condition
Recently, Minebea's stock price seems to be affected by some of news articles on websites regarding the condition of our LED backlight business, some of which seem groundless.
We had some delays ramping up production of an LED backlight product for a certain new model for a customer, and for a while an original shipment schedule did not go through as much as we had expected, but now we are in full production stage, and this is expected to continue at least until the end of this year.
We will give a more detailed report regarding this LED backlight business and others of Minebea in November when we announce our second quarter results.
