Minebea to Exhibit at the 2013 Paris Air Show

Minebea Co., Ltd. ("Minebea") will participate in "The 50th Paris Air Show" ("Paris Air Show"^*1) to be scheduled for Monday, June 17 through Sunday, June 23, 2013 at Le Bourget Exhibition Centre in Paris, France to introduce Minebea's global portfolio of aerospace products and solutions.

NMB-Minebea-GmbH (headquartered in Langen, Germany), one of the sales companies in Europe for Minebea Group, and New Hampshire Ball Bearings, Inc. (headquartered in California, the U.S.A.), Minebea's manufacturing subsidiary in North America, will work together to run a single booth for Minebea Group at the Paris Air Show.

Minebea Group is an one-of-a-kind bearing manufacturer which manufactures and provides such bearings products as rod-end bearings, spherical bearings and roller bearing, etc. being used for aerospace industries at all of the three major aircraft markets in Europe, North America and Japan (Japan and Thailand)^*2. In the circumstances where aircraft manufacturers have been accelerating their focus on the global purchasing strategies, Minebea Group is committed to strengthening its world-wide supply and delivery system to quickly respond to various needs and requests of our customers.

"The Paris Air Show" is organized by Salon International de l'Aeronautique et de l'Espace (SIAE), a subsidiary of GIFAS (the French Aerospace Industries Association). The air show will take place at Le Bourget exhibition center in Le Bourget International Airport located in the suburbs of Paris, France. The air show is to be held every other year alternately at the Farnborough Airport in Hampshire, England as Farnborough International Airshow and at Le Bourget exhibition center. Required qualities for the bearings used for aircraft components include exceptional durability and safety necessitated for such severe environments as acute changes in air pressure and temperatures. As such, obtaining certification by aircraft manufacturers are essential. Minebea has obtained certification by major aircraft manufacturers in Europe, North America and Japan.
