MinebeaMitsumi to Launch SALIOT pico Portable in December 2024

MinebeaMitsumi Inc. (Head Office: Nagano Prefecture, Representative Director, Chairman & CEO: Yoshihisa Kainuma, hereinafter referred to as "MinebeaMitsumi") will launch its smart lighting appliance, SALIOT pico Portable, in December 2024. This appliance allows users to adjust lighting via the dedicated smartphone apps, SALIOT. The product will be available for purchase on "Nojima" stores and on the "Nojima Online."^*1

This newly announced Saliot pico Portable is a rechargeable model designed in response to user demand. Once fully charged, it can be unplugged and used anywhere, enabling users to enjoy the beautiful lighting without having to worry about access to an outlet.
MinebeaMitsumi has long expanded SALIOT (Smart Adjustable Light for the Internet of Things) series of IoT lighting appliance, and supplied them to a variety of facilities such as art galleries, museums, hotels and showrooms. This series allows users to control lighting direction, brightness, color, and angle via smartphone or tablet - transforming the conventional lighting adjustments methods.

SALIOT pico Portable is a battery-powered, cordless, and compact stand light designed for easy portability. It retains the key features of SALIOT pico, MinebeaMitsumi's home-use smart lighting appliance launched in October 2021, and leverages its expertise in optical, circuit, and wireless technologies refined through the development of SALIOT series. Additionally, with high color-rendering properties^*2 (Ra97) and dimming/color tuning functions that are the strengths of SALIOT and are required in art galleries and museums. Furthermore, the light distribution angle and light direction can be easily adjusted by hand, making it possible to achieve a wide range of lighting variations. SALIOT pico Portable offers users flexible lighting options such as task lighting, indirect lighting, and stage lighting, enabling them to illuminate their space exactly as they envision.

An easy-to-carry, portable stand light like SALIOT pico Portable is a perfect model for today's modern lifestyle as people prioritize having personal space for individual activities over shared space for family gathering.
