MinebeaMitsumi's Fujisawa Plant Receives Minister's Award for Meritorious Service in Health, Labor and Welfare Statistics 2025

The Fujisawa Plant of MinebeaMitsumi Inc. (hereinafter "MinebeaMitsumi") was honored with the Minister's Award for Meritorious Service in Health, Labor and Welfare Statistics 2025 for the plant's dedicated, long-term cooperation with the Monthly Labor Survey conducted by the Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare.

This annual award is presented by the Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare to individuals and establishments that have made outstanding contributions to the development of statistical surveys under the Ministry's jurisdiction. Its purpose is to honor and reward their meritorious service, while also promoting the smooth implementation of surveys and boosting the morale of those involved in statistical activities. The Fujisawa Plant received this award in recognition of its exemplary cooperation throughout the fiscal year. The plant was highly commended for its deep understanding of the survey's importance, its prompt submission of survey forms and high accuracy of the data provided.

About Fujisawa Plant

Originally built as a factory of Tokyo Screw Co., Ltd. in Minato City, Tokyo, 1898, MinebeaMitsumi's Fujisawa Plant was relocated to the current address in 1921. In 1981, the company was renamed to Minebea Co., Ltd. Fujisawa Manufacturing Unit following the absorption-type merger. The Fujisawa Plant currently handles aircraft fasteners, machined components, measuring equipment products with strain gauge as its core technology, and mechanical products like railway/industrial motors and magnetic clutches. In 2025, the Shonan X-Port (Former Administration Center) was partially renovated and reopened the cafeteria and meeting rooms.
