Regarding Certain Media Reports Yesterday and Today
Today, MinebeaMitsumi Inc. ("We") have announced the extension of the tender offer period to July 1, 2025, for our tender offer for the common stock of SHIBAURA ELECTRONICS CO., LTD. Articles in the Nikkei yesterday and today reported that we would extend the aforementioned tender offer period to July 10. This was stated in relation to our outlook that an extension of the tender offer period would be necessary, along with the filing of an amendment to the Tender Offer Registration Statement, due to the planned submission of our Annual Securities Report on June 26. The specific schedule for the revised tender offer period following the submission of our Annual Securities Report will be announced after the report has been filed.
