NMB-Minebea Thai Co., Ltd. And EGAT Join the Push for Smart Energy Technology

NMB-Minebea Thai Co., Ltd. and EGAT sign a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to drive smart energy technology promote the use of renewable energy toward Carbon Neutrality.

On July 18, 2023, Mr. Warit Rattanachuen, Assistant Governor – Research, Innovation and Business Development Electricity Generating Authority of Thailand (EGAT) and Mr. Yoshihiro Sakanushi President, NMB-Minebea Thai Ltd. joins Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) for cooperation in pushing forward smart energy technology between EGAT and the NMB-Minebea Thai Co., Ltd. with Mr. Yoshihisa Kainuma, Representative Director, Chairman CEO, MinebeaMitsumi Inc., Ms. Noppavan Kanjanavan, Deputy Governor EGAT, Mr. Thidade Eiamsai, Deputy Governor - Power Plant Development and Renewable Energy EGAT, Ms. Sunee Cherdchucharti, Director, NMB-Minebea Thai Ltd. and Mr. Athip Tantivorawong, Chief Executive Officer, INNOPOWER Company Limited. attended the ceremony in Bangkok.

Ms. Noppavan Kanjanavan, Deputy Governor EGAT, said that this cooperation is a joint development Smart Energy Solutions on the Smart Campus area by integrating solar power generation systems, energy storage system, smart street light system and intelligent energy management system (Energy Management System) of EGAT allowing all systems to work together perfectly Raise the level of clean energy Reduce the cost of electricity and maximize electricity usage efficiency to achieve the goal of carbon neutrality and zero greenhouse gas emissions of EGAT and Thailand.
