Minebea Opened Showroom of LED Lighting
‘SALIOT -Smart Adjustable Light for the Internet Of Things-’
in Bangkok, Thailand
Minebea Co., Ltd. ("Minebea") opened its first lighting products showroom in Bangkok, Thailand at 7 p.m. on March 1, 2016 for a new type of LED lighting product called SALIOT (Smart Adjustable Light for the Internet of Things). In the showroom we display the latest line of models of SALIOT and demonstrate its usage in actual scenes for our customers.
With the cooperation of CTI Holding Co., Ltd. (Representative: Anusak Inthraphuvasak, Chairman & CEO, Location: Klong Toey, Bangkok,"CTI"), our logistics partner in Thailand for many years, we have established a sales company of lighting products, "Premier Lighting Solutions Co., Ltd." (Representative: Anuwat Inthraphuvasak, Managing Director, Location: Suanluang, Bangkok, "PLS"). Starting with this showroom, we will start lighting product sales activities on a full scale.
Distinguished architects, government officials and VIPs from various sectors in Thailand attended the opening ceremony. Yoshihisa Kainuma, the President and Chief Executive Officer of Minebea and Anusak Inthraphuvasak, Chairman & CEO of CTI, also attended the occasion.
At the beginning of the ceremony, President Kainuma expressed his gratitude to all the guests and said, "By making full use of this showroom which opened today, we would like to increase the presence of Minebea's SALIOT in the Thai lighting market. Starting with Thailand's elegant apparel shops, shopping centers, car dealers, department stores, and museums, we will propose SALIOT to the various prospective customers as a way to help further enhance the appeal of their displays."
