Minebea AccessSolutions Brazil participated in an Amazon River cleanup activity
Four employees from Minebea AccessSolutions Brazil participated in an environmental project organized by the Japanese-Brazilian Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Amazonas. As part of the project, they collected garbage along the Amazon River.
This activity took place in November, during the region's dry season. In this season, the water level of the Amazon River drops, causing vast sandbars to appear. On the day of the activity, the cleanup effort focused on these sandbars, and all participants collectively gathered a total of 2,500 kg of garbage.
MinebeaMitsumi group aims to continue engaging in social contribution activities as a member of the local community, striving for coexistence and mutual prosperity with the region.
