Community cleanup activities were conducted around the Yamagata Business Division
As part of our commitment to the local community, the Yamagata Business Division conducts cleanup activities in the surrounding area every spring and fall. The fall cleanup covers a 3.2-kilometer route within the Tachiyagawa Industrial Park, where the office is located.
On a sunny day in October 2024, 17 employees participated in this fiscal year's "Autumn Off-site Cleanup." Wearing new bibs with the company logo, the participants split into two groups and spent about 40 minutes cleaning a 3.2-kilometer stretch around the Tachiyagawa Industrial Park, home to our plant.
The cleanup effort was more successful than we had imagined. Each participant filled a trash bag with litter collected from sidewalks and curbsides. The amount of trash accumulated around the neighboring sports stadium was particularly notable. This experience served as an opportunity to appreciate the importance of these consistent activities. We ensure that all collected waste is brought back to our office for proper sorting and disposal according to established procedures.
