The Hamamatsu Plant hosts a plant tour for students from the Faculty of Engineering at National University Corporation Shizuoka University
On Thursday, September 19, the Hamamatsu Plant hosted 25 third-year students from the Department of Mechanical Engineering, Faculty of Engineering at Shizuoka University.
In the demonstration session featuring newly developed products using demo models, students were able to take a close look at the actual products, gaining a deeper understanding of their structure and mechanisms This experience highlighted the potential that components can offer.
Moreover, during lunch, the students had chance to exchange their opinions with alumni who are now employees at the plant. The conversation became so lively that the schedule ran behind, but it proved to be an inspiring experience for the employees.
Common questions from students were generally focused on work-related topics, such as:
"What is the most rewarding moment for you as an employee?"
"What kind of skills are essential for your job?"
"What inspired you to join MinebeaMitsumi?"
The opportunity to ask such questions helped broaden their career-related perspectives, providing valuable insights for finding the right fit.
