Clean-up activities in Fujisawa
The Fujisawa Plant organized clean-up activities around the plant on Tuesday 2 July and Friday 20 September. These clean-up activities are carried out during the preparation period in June and September to coincide with National Safety Week in July and National Occupational Health Week in October, but this time they were carried out in July and September due to rainy weather.
The Fujisawa plant is surrounded by roads that are used daily not only by employees commuting to work, but also by local residents and schoolchildren.
On the day, one or two employees from each workplace were selected to carry out clean-up activities, removing fallen leaves, acorns and weeds from around the plant, which is divided into eight sections by department, and picking up a lot of rubbish.
Through these clean-up activities, each employee became aware that he or she is a member of the local community and will continue to contribute to the local community through corporate citizenship activities.
