Work experience training for people with disabilities at Minebea Showa Ltd. Kyoto Plant

In September 2023, Minebea Showa accepted a student (one male) from Kyoto Prefectural School for the Deaf for work experience training.

The person who participated in the work experience this time was a student with a handicap in speech communication, but thanks to his dedicated attitude and the experience that the factory staff and others had accumulated through previous placements, the training was completed smoothly and without problems during the week. The students were able to complete the training smoothly and without any problems.

The students who experienced the program were able to deepen their independence and confidence in their professional lives, and our factory was able to confirm its belief that "handicapped people can grow as a competitive force in factory work" by identifying their strengths and accurately guiding them.

Minebea Showa began hiring people with disabilities in April 2021 and has continued to do so since then.
