Cleanup activities around Mitsumi Electric Chitose Business Division
On Thursday, May 12, 2022, a cleanup of the area around Mitsumi Electric Chitose Business Division was held. This is an annual event led by members of the Environmental Promotion Committee, as trash buried under snow is noticeable at this time of year after the snow melts.
The group was divided into four groups that covered an area of about 2 km centering on the street in front of the industrial park and picked up trash scattered on sidewalks, medians, and roadsides, collecting a total of about 20 kg of trash.
The local environmental protection activities are steadily expanding, as neighboring offices in the industrial park have also started to participate in the annual cleanup. Since this activity is registered as a volunteer cleanup by Chitose City, all garbage collected is disposed of by Chitose City.
Through these social contribution activities, the MinebeaMitsumi Group will continue to protect the natural environment and maintain close ties with local communities.
