Miyota Minami Elementary School Visits Karuizawa Plant
On July 9, 2021, MinebeaMitsumi Inc.'s Karuizawa Plant welcomed 97 third graders and five teachers from nearby Miyota Minami Elementary School for a tour of the facilities.
The goal was to tour a local plant as part of class, and deepen the understanding of working.
When we explained the outline of the company and set up time to actually touch the ball bearings, the children said, "Turn around well!" The cheers went up, and many questions like elementary school students were asked. Afterwards, they were guided through the main process and recorded the state of the working people and machines in a note, and watched with a serious look.
MinebeaMitsumi looks forward to supporting the local community through similar activities in the future.
