"Zero Waste" Activities at the Mitsumi Electric Head Office
In conjunction with "Zero Waste Day" on May 30, 2017, the Mitsumi Electric Head Office in Tama City, Tokyo conducted activities to clean the area around the company.
Four companies in the area, including JUKI Corporation, Tokio Marine & Nichido Systems Co., Ltd., Asahi Mutual Life Insurance Company, and Mitsumi Electric, support these activities every year by dividing the surroundings into areas that the companies clean on the same day.
Mitsumi Electric was responsible for the area between the Tamachuo Police Station and nearby condominiums. Fourteen Mitsumi Union members from the company participated.
The activities, which began at 7:30am and lasted 45 minutes, included picking up empty cans, plastic bottles, cigarette butts and so on.
Mitsumi Electric looks forward to taking part in similar environmental activities with the local community in the future.

"Zero Waste" Activities at the Mitsumi Electric Head Office
The Cambodia Plant gave its support to the Water Festival, a festival that gives thanks for the gift of water.
The highlight of the festival is the row boat race on the Tonlé Sap River in front of the Royal Palace. The plant donated matching caps and polo shirts with the company logo, as well as rice and mineral water, to two of the competing teams. The festival, centered around the boat race, was an exciting three days.
The Cambodia Plant looks forward to supporting more events like these in the future.
