Eighth Biannual Meeting with Representatives of Miyota Town, Nagano Prefecture
This November 2016, the Minebea Karuizawa plant hosted its eighth biannual meeting with representatives of Miyota Town, Kitasaku District, Nagano Prefecture, where the company is headquartered.
Held twice annually, the meeting is designed to sustain open dialog with local community members as a means of building mutual trust. The meeting, which was attended by five executives with responsibility for business practices, provided an opportunity to share information and opinion on a wide range of topics such as traffic safety measures, sewage treatment, ceremonies to mark the 60th anniversary of town administration, and planting the town flower, golden - rayed lily.
Minebea looks forward to continuing such dialog with local community members in the future.
