Students from Komoro Special Needs Education School in Nagano Prefecture Visit the Karuizawa Plant
The Minebea Karuizawa Plant held a plant tour for 35 first and second-year high school students from Komoro Special Needs Education School, a prefectural school located in Nagano Prefecture.
For the students, this experience serves as a corporate touring activity to assist them in thinking about their career paths. The visit was to a local plant making precision finished goods.
After hearing an explanation entailing an outline of the plant and the finished goods, the students were introduced to the various workplaces at the plant and given explanations on the work being conducted at each. Then, the students listened with enthusiasm to talks on topics including what it is like for Komoro Special Needs Education School graduates actually working in the plant.
Minebea will continue local contribution activities like this.
