NMB-Minebea Thai Provides Waste Separation Class to Local Children
NMB-Minebea Thai hosted a workshop to teach a total of 118 students (52 students from primary school 4th - 6th grade, 66 students from secondary school 1st - 3rd grade) from the nearby Wat Pued Nimit School in Pathumthani Province the ins and outs of sorting trash. The workshop was designed to promote environmental awareness to students and help them learn how to sort trash.
Detail of activities
- Educated the situation of waste problems in Thailand, improper management impact, disposal and recycle of waste and also the advantage of waste management.
- Conducted relationship building activities and environmental quiz questions for enjoyment.
- Offered waste bins (general, recycle, hazardous and compostable) and prizes for answering the environmental quiz questions and group activities.
NMB-Minebea Thai will continue to support environmental education for the children of the next generation.
