Minokaya Junior High School Students Experience Work Life at the Yonago Plant
Minebea's Yonago Plant welcomed two second-year students from nearby Minokaya Junior High School (run by Yonago City and the village of Hiezuson) as part of the school's work experience program. Designed to give students the chance to experience what it's like to work on the front lines of manufacturing, the program gets youngsters thinking about what they might want to do with their lives.
A thank-you note from one of the students noted that he found working in the unfamiliar environment to be tough but that the opportunity demonstrated the importance as well as the joys and difficulties of working.
Minebea looks forward to supporting the local community through similar activities in the future.
