Minebea Italian Subsidiary Lends a Hand to Tohoku Revival Festival Parade at Milan Expo
Minebea's Italian Subsidiary, NMB Italia S.r.L. provided its parking area for the assembling and dismantling of the Aomori Nebuta Festival floats. The floats were featured in the Tohoku Japan Revival Festival Parade, a special Japan Day event held on July 11 as part of Expo Milano. Offering a glimpse of ten festivals from Japan's Tohoku region, the parade was a demonstration of gratitude to countries across the world for all the help they gave the areas hit by the Great East Japan Earthquake. The event showed everyone that the once devastated region is back on its feet and moving ahead with reconstruction.
Minebea looks forward to taking part in similar community activities in the near future.
