Local Festival Co-sponsorship
As a member of the local community, Minebea values its connection to local community members. Because "working in harmony with the local community" is one of our Five Principles, Minebea is always looking for ways to serve the local community.
Through factory tours, co-sponsorship of summer festivals, and various other activities that foster communication with local community residents, Minebea aims to become a company that is understood by and contributes to the local community.
Donation to the Miyota Town Summer Festival in Nagano Prefecture

Minebea's Karuizawa Plant made a donation to the Miyota Town "Ryujin festival (Dragon God Festival)" in Kitasaku, Nagano where the plant is located.
The Dragon Festival is based on the regional legend of Koga Saburo in Kitasaku, Nagano. It is a boisterous festival with a 45-meter-long dragon that is said to be Japan's longest. The dragon dances to the reverberations of "dragon drums" and firecrackers.

Donation to the Fukuroi City Fireworks Festival in Shizuoka Prefecture

Minebea's Hamamatsu Plant made a donation to the 2014 Fukuroi Enshu no Hanabi fireworks festival in Fukuroi, Shizuoka where the plant is located.
The 2014 Fukuroi Enshu no Hanabi fireworks festival takes place together with the All-Japan Master of Fireworks Competition, making it one a small number of fireworks shows in Japan at which master firework-makers from around the country put their talent and reputations on the line as they compete for a commendation by the Minister of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology.
