Minebea Helps Junior High Students Find Career Paths
In November 2013, 36 first-year students from Fujisawa City's Takinosawa Junior High School toured Minebea's Fujisawa Plant with an eye to discovering future career options.
Divided into four tour groups, the students got an up-close look at the aircraft fastener production process. The students were all ears as they listened to the young engineer who served as their guide explain the process.
Driving home the concept of work itself, the tour gave the students a great chance to explore future career paths. As they listened to their engineer guide talk about the difficult as well as rewarding aspects of working, the youngsters seemed to be looking at a mirror of themselves in the future.
