Reviewing the expression of the corporate philosophy
MinebeaMitsumi has reviewed the expression of its corporate philosophy in order to further clarify its environmental initiatives, such as decarbonization, and to provide supplementary language that will help stakeholders and employees better understand the Company's vision and lead to further growth.
Through discussions among all members of the Company, both in Japan and overseas, including all executives, we have clarified the image of the society we want to realize, and have decided that we will "contribute to realization of a sustainable, eco-friendly and prosperous society by providing better products, at a faster speed, in larger numbers, at a lower cost and by smarter means."
With ultra-precision technology at the core, we are determined to contribute to the reduction of environmental impact and sustainability, as well as to the prosperous development of society.
With our company credo "The Five Principles," as our guiding principle, and our corporate slogan, "Create new value through "difference" that transcends conventional wisdom," we will strive to achieve our corporate philosophy.

Transparent management based on our company credo "The Five Principles"

Based on these company credos, the company's basic management policy is to fulfill its social responsibility and to maximize the corporate value for its various stakeholders, such as shareholders, business partners, local communities, global society and employees. Aiming at concentrating its management resources on the fields where it has the collective and comprehensive strengths of the corporate group, MinebeaMitsumi Group has worked proactively on "the development of high-value-added products" and "the advancement of the quality of the products." In addition, we strive to reinforce our corporate management centering on "the strengthening of our financial standing" as well as to implement "the company management having a high-degree of transparency" in a comprehensive manner both internally and externally.

Create new value through "difference" that transcends conventional wisdom
It will be necessary for the manufacturing of the future to deliver new value propositions to society. In 2017, we established the slogan "Passion to Create Value through Difference," and going forward we will continue to create new value through "difference" that transcends conventional wisdom, demonstrating strengths that cannot be found in other companies.
Minebea and MITSUMI ELECTRIC started the operations as MinebeaMitsumi Inc. as of January 27, 2017 due to business integration. And a new corporate slogan "Passion to Create Value through Difference" was established.
"Passion to Create Value through Difference" expresses our strong desire to create new value from extraordinary "difference" - a uniqueness that cannot be found elsewhere. The new company's extensive future product line-up, will be the result of the fusion of Minebea's ultra-precision machining technology and Mitsumi's electronics technology.
The corporate logo "Difference" and "Passion" are expressed in MinebeaMitsumi Red, emphasizing that difference is the key element to produce new value, and that the new company has a strong passion to achieve this.
